There is currently a proposal by Fairmont School to expand the school enrollment above the limit authorized by the County of Orange. Should that fail, the school desires authorization to continue the current enrollment practice that is in violation of the County authorization. Here is a recent letter by Mr. Harold Dilbeck, a neigbhor of the school who analyzes the recent decision by NTAC to recommend a enrollment increase over the objections of local residents. This letter with minor editing was published in the Tustin News on July 1, page 5. An additional concern here is whether business profitability should trumpt residential compatibility.

FCA supports the community desire to acquire property for sale by the railroad and make permanent the currently informal part of the trail, that is located south of 17th Street. The FCA is working with Supervisor Bill Campbell to accomplish this.
The management of John Wayne Airport provided data summarizing the number of noise complaints, for years 2001 and 2002, to the FCA Airport Working Group. FCA Director Jack Mallinckrodt prepared the summary histogram. Note that North Tustin is not one of the most affected areas.
A County plan to widen Red Hill Ave between S. E. Skyline and La Loma was rolled back in 2003. The revised county plans identify this portion of Red Hill as a non-arterial road and no widening is required.
